Motient and TMI satellites provide satellite telephone (voice/fax/data) and radio dispatch service which provide coverage in North America (including Hawaii, Alaska and Central America), the Caribbean Sea and contiguous waters. There are transportable (ST-251), vehicle (ST-211), maritime and fixed site (ST-221) versions of this equipment. |

The OmniQuest ST251 Portable Satellite Telephone is a 6 pound laptop computer-sized phone that can be used for voice or data communications over the public telephone network. The ST251 includes an integrated transceiver and antenna, handset and cradle, carrying case and compass. To use it, simply open the carrying case, lift the antenna up, point it to the South (for most users) and press the Power button on the handset. You will then be ready to make your calls. As with all Mitsubishi MTs, optional accessories allow hands-free use and access to the net radio feature with a push-to-talk microphone. ST251 accessories allow mobile or fixed site operations. |
