The KlasHopper PCMCIA  Model 200 or 400 card provides a synchronous serial port for any computer systems running Windows 95/98/NT. The PC Card installs directly as a network adapter to allow maximum flexibility using standard protocols such as PPP, TCP/IP, NetBEUI andIPX/SPX. The use of standard protocols facilitates connections with commercial-off-the-shelf ISDN Terminal Adapters and Routers, negating the requirement of equipping both ends of the link with identical equipment. The KlasHopperPCMCIA card replaces costly routers for users accessing synchronous serial ports for services such as VSAT, Inmarsat-B High-Speed Data, ATM Networks and the Internet. Dial-Up Networking sessions can be created using the KlasHopper as the communications device for Internet or Intranet connections. Multi-Link PPP sessions are supported for 128Kbps (2x64).
