The highly efficient, single panel antenna allows the terminal to be set up without connecting cables or assembling antenna panels. With the smallest installed antenna of any M4 product on the market and no hinges or antenna joints, the e-Lite can be used in the harshest environments without intermittent RF connections.
Secure communications are accommodated by a combination of direct connection of analog STU-III/IIB telephones through an RJ-11 jack and an ISDN ST1 port for STE terminals.
A flexible power system includes a wide range DC input (10-32 Vdc) and a built-in NMH battery (capacity of one hour of 64 Kb/s operation) and a fast charger.
